How to get there?

Come by bike or public transport to the start and finish of the Great Breweries Marathon in Breendonk. Due to the marathon, the center of Breendonk is NOT accessible. Prepare your trip and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

ON FOOT OR BY BIKE

Duvel Brewery is easily accessible on foot or by bike. There will be ample bicycle parking provided by the entrance to Duvel Brewery and the start area.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The train is the ideal way of getting to the Great Breweries Marathon. What’s more, on Sunday you can travel half price on the train. There is a free shuttle bus between the station of Mechelen and the start.

The first shuttle departs at 6:40 AM from Mechelen station.
The last shuttle leaves Breendonk for Mechelen at 8:00 PM.

PARKING

The streets surrounding Duvel Moortgat Brewery are closed to traffic.

Make it easy for yourself and follow the signposting or use one of the navigation links below from the various directions.

Then, follow the signs to the car parks and the signallers’ instructions. They will guide you to the free parking spaces.

A shuttle bus will take you to the start and finish area. A shuttle bus will take you to the start and finish zone. Shuttle buses run from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
You’ll need to pay €8 in cash when leaving the parking area. Please bring €8 in cash.

From Brussels

Follow the A12 (Brussels-Antwerp).
Exit dancing Carré (Koning Leopoldlaan 2, Willebroek). The parking lot of this famous Belgian dancing has been reserved for participants of the Great Breweries Marathon.
