How to get there?
Come by bike or public transport to the start and finish of the Great Breweries Marathon in Breendonk. Due to road works, the local fair and marathon, the centre of Breendonk and Veurtstraat car park are NOT accessible. Prepare your trip and allow for extra time to reach your destination.
On foot or by bike
Duvel Brewery is easily accessible on foot or by bike. There will be ample bicycle parking provided by the entrance to Duvel Brewery and the start area.
By public transport
The train is the ideal way of getting to the Great Breweries Marathon. What’s more, on Sunday you can travel half price on the train. There is a free shuttle bus between the station of Mechelen and the start.
- The first shuttle bus leaves from Mechelen station at 6:40am.
- The last bus leaves from Breendonk to Mechelen at 7:30pm.

By car
The streets around Duvel Moortgat Brewery will be closed for the event. Moreover, the centre of Breendonk and Veurtstraat car park used for previous editions will NOT be accessible by car due to roadworks and the fair.

Then, follow the signs to the car parks and the signallers’ instructions. They will guide you to the free parking spaces.
A shuttle bus will take you to the start and finish area. The shuttle busses will run from 7am to 7:15pm.
