How to get there?

Come by bike or public transport to the start and finish of the Great Breweries Marathon in Breendonk. Due to the marathon, the center of Breendonk is NOT accessible. Plan your trip in advance and allow extra time to reach your destination.

ON FOOT OR BY BIKE

Brewery Duvel is easily accessible on foot or by bike. Large bicycle parking areas are available near the entrance of Duvel Brewery and the start zone.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The train is the ideal way to get to the Great Breweries Marathon. On Sundays, you can even travel at half price by train. A free shuttle bus runs between Mechelen station and the starting line.

  • The first shuttle departs at 6:40 AM from Mechelen station.
  • The last shuttle leaves Breendonk for Mechelen at 8:00 PM.

KISS&RIDE

You can also get dropped off at the Kiss & Ride zone at Sportpark De Schans. From there, you can take the shuttle bus for free to the starting area. Scan the QR code below to get to the zone.

The streets surrounding Duvel Moortgat Brewery are closed to traffic.

Then follow the posted signs towards the parking areas and the instructions of the stewards. They will guide you to available parking spots.

A shuttle bus will take you to the start and finish area. Shuttle buses run from 7:00 AM to 7:15 PM. You’ll need to pay €8 in cash when leaving the parking area. You can purchase an exit ticket at the ticket booth near Duvel during the event.

Vanuit Brussel

  • Neem de A12 richting Willebroek & Antwerpen.
  • Neem uitrit Carré. U kunt parkeren op de parking van discotheek Carré (Koning Leopoldlaan 2, Willebroek).
  • Volg de signalisatie en de aanwijzingen van de parkeerwachters.

Vanuit Gent / Sint-Niklaas / Temse

  • Neem op de E17 uitrit 15 richting Temse en Mechelen.
  • Volg de N16 en rijd de A12 op richting Brussel.
  • Neem vlak na het Lukoil-tankstation de uitrit Londerzeel en hou rechts aan.
  • Volg de signalisatie richting parking en de aanwijzingen van de stewards.

Vanuit Mechelen

  • Neem de N16 richting Sint-Niklaas
  • Neem vervolgens de A12 richting Brussel.
  • Neem vlak na het Lukoil-tankstation de uitrit Londerzeel en hou rechts aan.
  • Volg de aangebrachte signalisatie richting parkings en de aanwijzingen van de stewards.

Vanuit Antwerpen

  • Neem de A12 richting Willebroek en Brussel.
  • Neem vlak na het Lukoil-tankstation de uitrit Londerzeel en houd rechts aan.
  • Volg daarna de wegwijzers naar de parking.
